It has been a long year here at Cape Cod Hedgehogs.

We are glad that everything is starting to go back to some what of Normal.

As of May 29th 2021, the Mask Mandate was lifted in MA.

This was left to the discretion of each Business if they were going to allow no Masks or have you wear them.

Because there is not much information about if Hedgehogs can get Covid and the underline health conditions I personally have, we will be having people wear masks when they are here.

We also will be continuing social distancing, to protect you, your family, our animals and our family.

We apologize in advance.

All Pick Ups of your hedgehogs will be done outside, masked and social distancing.

Any Questions, Please feel free to ask.

Today, 3/13/2020, we met with our Vet and talked about what we can do in light of the Virus that is going around. We wanted to talk about what we can do to keep our animals and family safe here at Cape Cod Hedgehogs.

It was decided that while the transmitting of Corona Virus is very easy and it also has been advised by WHO that Social Distancing is suggested to keep everyone safe.

We will not be having people coming into our home until further notice to pick up their animals. Everything will be done electronically and Meeting will be in a public (outside) area for pick up of their new babies. We will be doing all paper work electronically if possiable and payments for all hedgehogs are to be paid in full via paypal invoices. This is being done to keep everyone safe, their families and of course all of the animals.

We will be available (via email, text, Phone, Facebook and Facetime) for all our customers.

We are here to help if you need something or have questions. If there is something we can do, we will help.

We will be posting some care/handling videos over the next few days that we find that can help with new owners. We normally show you everything (hands on) when you pick up your new babies. So we are hoping to find different resources that can help that are digital for everyone, until it is safe to have people coming to our home to pick up their babies again.

We are looking into where would be the best place to meet everyone and will send everyone a message. Everyone that is picking up their Quill Kids, watch for your message so we can figure out a good time and place that will work for you.

All Adoption Rules Apply...

We at Cape Cod Hedgehogs want to wish everyone well. We Hope that we all can come together to rid this Virus from our communities. Again, if any of my Owners need anything, please feel free to ask.

Please Remember...

Wash your hands "Before" and After we hold our quill kids.

If you are not feeling well... keep a distance from them until you are feeling better. :) Its Better to be safe than sorry.

Always use your better Judgement... We all know that our Quill kids will Lick anything (lol)

Any Questions, please feel free to ask.

UPDATE: 3/18/20

The State of MA has suggested all nonessential businesses are being urged to close for 2 weeks. We will be closed for any and all in person contact, But we will be open via phone, email, text, and Facebook.

We have many protocols in place here to keep our animals safe. Never thought that we had to have one in respect to a Virus that is sweeping across the world affecting humans. With much thought and guidance from our vet and other professionals in the Animal Safety industry we have put a all stop of animals leaving our home. This is put in place to keep the spread of this virus down in our Communities.

This decision is made to protect the Health and Safety of the Communities as a whole.

All Pick ups of peoples hedgehogs will be Postponed.

I know families were looking to pick up their babies this week(end) with Drive up meetings to ensure that we could without passing this virus to each other. With the new Studies that were released by WHO on Monday, that this Virus can live in the air, It is to much of a high risk for all. We are Deeply sorry, We only want to keep you and your family safe, as our own.

Everyone that has a reserved Hedgehog, soon as it is safe for all of us to venture out again, we will meet up.

We thank you and everyone for your understanding and please be safe.

If there is anything anyone needs, we will help if we can.

We are open only online and via the following. All face-to-face contact is postponed until this situation passes. We hope everyone is Safe, Happy and Well.
